Blyken & Nod Helps Us Find Hidden Treasures

by Walney on June 22, 2010

My involvement in fighting to have the CPSIA amended began in January of 2009. I was not only blogging about the topic regularly, but also heavily involved in the conversation on Twitter. Through these conversations, I met some wonderful people and artists, one of whom is Hilary of Blynken & Nod.

When Whimsical Walney was producing children’s products, its mission was to let children play. Hilary’s extremely beautiful and creative scavenger hunt cards therefore made me giggle with delight because I knew I had found a kindred spirit in this mission.

As I became more and more involved in the CPSIA amendment efforts, Hilary was always the little voice in my ear reminding to keep my creativity alive; to keep my silly well nourished. Just looking at her various creations always served to inspire me.

Her shop was on a brief hiatus but now she’s back therefore take a peek, bookmark it, and continue to check back so that when she adds more listings you can get into a little creative mischief of your own.

Dana, you sweet wonder! Thanks for making my day!

In random sleepless moments, I still find Walney and gang running amok in my mind and making mischief. :)
