I have been thinking a lot lately about the various posts and insights people have shared regarding the CPSIA and how it affects their businesses, the economy, and consumers. I have wanted to talk about ethics, community, and good business practices but just haven’t had time to sit down and write some cohesive posts. The ideas keep spinning around in my head and haven’t quite landed.
Tonight was to be the night that I found some clarity. That I dedicated time to documenting and sharing my thoughts but a news flash sent me into a completely different tailspin: The remains of Sandra Cantu, an 8-year old from Tracy, CA were found in a large rolling suitcase.
So I cannot focus.
And I certainly cannot comprehend how anyone can do something so reprehensible.
While CPSIA may be an extremely important issue that deserves time and attention, a family grieving the loss of their 8 year old tonight takes precedence.
To all those who knew and loved Sandra, my thoughts are with you.
