In yesterday’s post, I outlined possible talking points that you might use when calling your congress people. In soliciting feedback, this is what people shared:
- @hillstfr reminded us that every call should have an “ask” — in this case, we should be asking our Senator or Representative to co-sponsor S374/HR968.
- @CPSIACheer sais that we should do whatever we can to have an in-person conversation with our Sentor or Representative. It is much more powerful when we look them in the eye.
- @DHMrs urged us to contact the members who are serving on the Committee where Jim DeMint’s bill is languishing. (Scroll down for the names of the committee members.)
