I was going to write about my experience at the fair but realized that much of what I learned will only be interesting to a small group of people. So I have decided instead to tell you about some of the great people/groups who I met:
- Mamatotowear — Hanna Bark is the designer and CEO of this nursing and maternity clothing company. She took great care in setting up the nursing area that they sponsored to ensure that any mother who needed it would be comfortable.
- Mama’s Resource Network — These ladies don’t have a website yet, but they boast a great network of women who can address any challenges you may be facing while pregnant or postpartum. You can find psychologists, psychiatrists, yoga teachers, midwives and more.
- The sassy and smart authors of The Rookie Mom’s Handbook (aka Whitney and Heather) made sure to keep the day light and fun.
